Thank you for your interest in eTutor. I hope you have already seen our demo. If not, you could view it here.
A brief overview of eTutor features :
eTutor is online coaching for GATE.
1. Online GATE Classes - Can be accessed at any time from any PC through Internet
2. More than 250 hours of lectures recorded by the best faculty
3. Creates an exact simulation of the classroom with text and voice
4. Uniform teaching methodology across subjects
5. Online support for doubts clarifications
6. 5 full length online tests freeFees of eTutor is Rs. 5000.
If taken with our Correspondence + Test Series package, it is available at an additional fees of only Rs. 500. Hence
Correspondence Course(CC) + Test Series(TS) + eTutor –> Fees Rs. 7000 only
All registrations from February 10 to February 29 are entitled to a discount of Rs. 1000 (for CC+TS+eTutor package).
Our enrollment form can be used to enroll. (Simply fill it up, send a fees of Rs. 6000 by DD along with filled up form. Write eTutor at the top of the form)

Video lecture on linear algebra is excellant and helpful.
such demos are required for every subject. I intend to take this course but afraid, i do not know how about other subject in ece.

An option could be provided by which the user could adjust the speed of narratoin, if possible. I felt a bit of slow narration in the Mathematics demo.

Very innovative. Useful if the concepts for a particular subject or chapter is not very clear. Especially useful for those who are in job and want to prepare for the exam in free time.
As Premkumar said, an option can be provided to adjust the speed of narration.

I have seen the demo, it is very slow to demonstrate, how can i interact if i found doubts, today it is delayed that my DD can’t reach at u before 29-feb, can this time be extended, i’m intrested to get coaching, which become fruit full, i’m very week in math and Automata, how can i find it simple and understand the math easily, because have forgotten every thing of math, in +3 level i had not studied math, only what i remember is discreet math, and numericals, i find porobality is very dificult for me, how can u help me in this regard.
please give a brief solution , hence i’ll be obliged.

The Demo of CS is not available yet and the available demos are not displayed on PC. Please tell me the requirements to see demo and eTutor coaching on the computer.
Today(26/02/2008) I have enrolled for complete package (C.C. + T. S. + eTutor) for Computer Science Paper (CS) at local office Nagpur.
Please give me Planning of eTutor, Test Series and others so that I can use the same.

It is a good innovation and session on linear algebra was an excellent e-experience.
But I need help on few subjects like automata theory,algoritm analysis,coa…
Could I choose those package only.Being a final year student complete package of RS 5000 in not affordable to me.

Let me make some clarifications.
1. You are paying for the entire syllabus of GATE. And the entire syllabus will be covered. The entire module will be out soon. But will not be available to only enrolled students.
2. Hansaraj, you should send a mail to support@gateforum.com for such queries. This reply thread is for the feedback and the suggested improvements if any.
3. Individual packages on individual sections / topics are not available currently. It may/ may not be made available later.
4. The video takes some time to download. You could leave the page open for a minute before actually starting the lesson.
5. Please do not leave personal messages such as ‘I am weak / strong in the following’ or ‘I need guidance in a, b, c subjects’. This is not the forum to do so.
6. We are hiring the best of the faculty to do these lessons and are very optimistic and hopeful that the lessons will be very good.
7. If anyone wants to take CC+TS+eTutor before 29th, he should either go to our office OR for speedy action, deposit cash in our ICICI account and send the form and deposit receipt to our office. Had you called up our office at 080 41310203 you would have got this information long back. This is not the forum for such questions, nevertheless I am answering them here
8. There is a progress bar which you can forward or take back if you can/cannot understand. Speed alteration will be taken care of that way.
9. The effort to innovate and make it better will come in once the entire module is up. So we appreciate your feedbacks.
And As I said, currently only the entire module is available.

I just go thro the demo, its agood idea.I am from ECE branch. So we need a demo class for a concept(example from FM theory or convolution process), then only we can evaluate how they explain the matter. Another difficulty is we must be full time online. Instead of it if we get the material in a DVD rom with some hardware key(piracy can be avoided), it will be a profitable business for u people , and a good material for aspirants. more than that there is a great delay in explaining most of the concepts.

It will be available in CS, EC, ME, EE, PY streams.
DVD is a good idea, but will be implemented only next year.

The material technique is good .. BUT
I didn’t feel like I am going through a course for GATE it’s like simple school class.
Reason:
1) It didn’t specify what is consistency?
2) What do we mean by solution?
3) 0/0 is taken as infinite solution and constant/0 is taken as no solution and inconsistent one?
4) It’s like mugging up things.
My question is:
Is full material is like this only ?

Hi Neha,
You are talking about a full fledged class when you are first taught all assumptions first and then given a problem to solve.
As opposed to what we do in the classroom, on the net, space is a constraint, because the larger the length of the class, the larger the file and the lesser it is veiwed because of lesser students being able to view it. A 5 minute lesson cannot be expected to cover all the definitions also.
For demo we are picking up a part from classroom sessions and giving it to you. Since it is from the middle, you feel that the essential theory and assumptions might have been missed out.
This is just a part of the entire classroom coaching, and has been provided to get a feel of what it would look like.
250 hours of classroom coaching will include theory etc and the lessons will be approached in a certain fashion. So a problem solving session will be covered only after the theory has been covered. Here, since you are seeing a problem solving session directly, you are finding some assumptions have been left unexplained.
We are considering putting up half hour sessions as well.

I wish to know from the administrator that It was demo of Which Class room coaching that is weather Bangalore/Kolkata or Hydrabad?
because I feel the faculty was really good, and it will definately add a good flavour in Mathematics
